About Moon Phase Soulmate Test
Moon Phase Soulmate Test is a free tool that reads the natal moon phase behind two birth dates and shows how those two lunar rhythms relate to each other.
The idea comes from an older astrological practice. Long before it became a social media trend, astrologers read the moon’s phase at birth as a picture of a person’s inner world — how they feel, what they need, and the emotional rhythm they were born into. Comparing two of those phases is simply an extension of that idea.
What this site does
Our calculator uses real astronomical data. It measures the time between a birth date and a known reference new moon, divides by the true mean lunar cycle of 29.530588853 days, and places each person on one of the eight named moon phases. Nothing is guessed, and nothing is random — the same two dates will always produce the same result.
From there, the tool compares where the two phases sit inside the lunar cycle and returns a compatibility reading based on how those emotional rhythms tend to work together.
What this site does not do
We want to be honest about this. Moon phase compatibility is a symbolic system, not a scientific one. Research has not shown that the phase of the moon at birth shapes personality or predicts how a relationship will turn out.
What it can do is give you a useful way to think about emotional needs — yours and your partner’s. Plenty of people read their phase description and recognise something true in it. That recognition is worth something, even if the mechanism behind it is symbolic rather than physical.
No calculator can identify your soulmate. Ours does not claim to.
Why we built it
Most moon phase tools online either ask for information you do not have, such as an exact birth time, or return a vague result with no explanation behind it. We wanted something that runs on real lunar mathematics, needs nothing more than two birth dates, and explains what the result actually means.
The tool is free, requires no sign-up, and stores nothing you enter.
